Tasting Notes
A series of excellent vintages starting in 1990 has enabled our Cabernet Sauvignon to win a string of gold medals in recent wine shows both in Australia and internationally. The 1992 vintage was generous in sunshine and the grapes were picked at a riper level, giving us more rich berry flavours and less herbaceousness. Richly coloured and exhibiting aromas of blueberry pie, cedar and leather. A mouth filling wine with soft tannins, (albeit firmer than 1991 and 1990) and flavours of blueberries, tart plum and rhubarb, and dusty french oak on a dry finish.
Winemaker Notes
A bit young to drink in 1994, 1995 but will continue to improve with age up to 2004.
