A classic Margaret River blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. This popular, pure-fruit style has been made by Vasse Felix since 1987. It is zesty, fresh and crisp.
A cool, high-humidity start to vintage meant we benefited greatly from precise canopy management to mitigate disease pressure and optimise sun exposure for the fruit. The success of this program enabled us to harvest ripe, clean fruit with slightly lower alcohol and great natural acidity. Mild conditions allowed for extended ripening, creating beautiful aromatics and fine ripe tannins in our reds. Marri Blossom was non-existent throughout the region in 2019, resulting in the largest netting program ever seen at Vasse Felix to protect the fruit from bird damage. Overall, a labour-intensive vintage that resulted in beautiful quality fruit.

Sometimes the extra year improves this classic blend. In this case, it has taken it into another zone. Still has the tropical fruit and edgy gooseberry lemon zest but the dial has been turned down and it's less overt. It makes for terrific drinking right now.

A 66/34% split of semillon and sauvignon blanc, it's bright and as cheery as a summer's day, the best time to enjoy this. Fresh and brimming with lemon-lime flavours complementing the tropical edge of feijoa and passionfruit pith with a sprinkling of fresh herbs. Refreshing all the way.

The 2019 version has delicious purity of light passionfruit, lime and herbal aromas that are ripe and inviting. The palate has unusual depth for the style, with a hint of fruit sweetness, persistent flavours, good structure, and tangy balance. A delicious warm-weather white.
