A classic Margaret River blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. This popular, pure-fruit style has been made by Vasse Felix since 1987. It is zesty, fresh and crisp.
2020 was a stunning vintage featuring low yields with fantastic quality; characteristics that will define this vintage as ‘rare and fine’. Spring development was early followed by a warm start to summer and continuing into fine sunny, dry conditions throughout the summer months. This, combined with lower yields, brought an early start to harvest. Conditions were ideal early on with minimal bird pressure due to timely arrival of Marri Blossom and no disease pressure. Bird pressure increased following a rainfall event late February, resulting in the reds being netted. Conditions also cooled slightly, extending the red vintage, delivering ideal tannin ripening and fruit flavour preservation.

Rounded, textural, grassy and delicious. Bags of freshly picked snow peas, citrus blossom, coriander and gooseberry. Pretty as.
91/100
Light, bright straw-yellow colour, with a sweet orange juice aroma - mandarin, Paladac - as well as a passionfruit and kiwi-fruit note that comes through more strongly on the palate. The wine has a dab of sweetness in the centre, and finishes clean and firmly dry. Better next year as it's still a smidgin disjointed. A very attractive wine with fruit concentration.
Wine of the Week
A delicate, oily roundness and suppleness that gives substance to the vibrant lemongrass, lime-zest, spice, elderflower and gooseberry flavours.
Gorgeous
A combo that you’ll find in sweet wines such as sauternes, and that’s gorgeous in this dry Aussie incarnation from Margaret River. Another one for salmon.
